What FDTST is about?

Flintshire District Target Sports Team (FDTST) is a collection of Archery and Shooting Teams (formerly SASU's).

We first came together in November 2022 as a group of Scouts and Leaders who were looking to develop shooting opportunities in North East Wales.

Our volunteer team consists of tutors, instructors and coaches who between them are qualified across the range of target sports. These include Archery, Crossbow, Airgun and Tomahawk.

The FDTST volunteers are here to help you develop and enhance your target sports skills.

Why not come and join us for a term and within the eights weeks you will get some excellent coaching, improve your target shooting and get your Master at Arms badge.

NSRA Youth Proficiency Scheme (Shooting)

We run sessions typically twice a month (roughly 8 times per semester).

In the spring we enter all of our athletes and volunteers into several national postal competitons, for shooting and archery.

We also enter a team in 'Waterloo', which is a competition camp run at the Milldale Campsite by South West Cheshire Scouts.

Then there is our own Flintshire District Target Sports Competition, 'Cwnsyllt' or ' Coleshill' which we run in October.
